This past weekend, The Bug had Vonzeles, unplugged. If you are a rocker, or into the alternative scene, you should really check them out. These guys are talented, hard working, professional and extremely cool. They came back on the full moon for the Full Moon Acoustic Gathering to hang out and jam because they liked the place so much. This band is a band to watch, don't be surprised if you start to hear them on the radio or see them on MTV. These guys are going places. Check out their video for the single "I Remember".

The Bug features many extremely talented musicians and fully support them all and appreciate their visits and music but I wouldn't be a bit surprised if these guys ended up being the most widely known of anyone who has ever played here.

I've been to yosemite many times. The yosemite bug is flat out the best place I've ever stayed.
The place is alive with warmth and vibrancy. The people who stay here are down to earth and adventurous; The staff is youthfull and friendly. It's like going to camp but your an adult.
The dining hall is set up so multiple groups eat at the same table. As lone traveller I always felt like I was part of a group. The hall is also stocked with games and guitars for late evening entertainment.
The cabins are cozy and reasonably priced. Great place to stay at.

My sister and I stayed at the Bug in the spring, before all the wildfires, and we were wondering how it is doing today? The fact that there is not any mention of it on the website I hope means that everything is fine.
We enjoyed our all too brief stay at Yosemite Bug, and are hoping to return, maybe next spring.
